Meet the Owners, Karen and Scott
Karen and Scott are the owners of Stargazer Stays Glamping. Originally from Vermont, they moved to Tennessee in 2021 and have fallen in love with the Smokies. Karen is a Veteran of the US Army (HOOAH) and recently retired from a fortune 500 company to aid investors in their purchase of cash-flowing short-term rentals in Tennessee. Scott retired from his construction company in 2020 and now works on projects to enhance their rentals.
Karen and Scott have lived in Tennessee a short time, but their roots are already deep! They have a coffee shop, Heavenly Roast in Wears Valley. During your stay please feel free to pop in for a delicious cup of coffee or a freshly made treat!
One of Karen and Scotts Favorite things to do is ride their Harley Davidsons. For you gearheads! Karen owns a 2016 Road Glide Special and Scott rides a highly customized 2012 Street Glide. Let them know if you would like a peek! Karen and Scott are always happy to chat with other enthusiasts.
They have five children! Two of which have chosen to remain in VT and one of them went to college in FL and never came back! They are so happy to have one of their daughters work in the family business in Tennessee and beyond proud of their youngest daughter who is serving our Great Country in the United States Army (GO ARMY!).
Karen and Scott would be honored to have you stay at Stargazer Stays Glamping and look forward to helping others experience the beauty that is the Smokies.
