Whether you are looking for challenging hikes, family hikes, or waterfalls, the Smokies have so many options for you!

The Great Smoky Mountains are considered one of the oldest mountain ranges in the world and feature over 800 miles of trails. Chimney Falls offers dazzling views from its observation point but the 1500 foot rise in elevation makes it one of the most challenging hikes in the area. Clingman’s Dome is the third-highest mountain in the United States but you only have to walk half an hour to reach the observation tower! During Summer and Fall, Andrews Bald is only 1.8 miles away from Clingman’s Dome and is an ideal picnic spot for families. If its waterfalls you are after, Laurel Falls and Rainbow Falls Trail will not disappoint!

Our friends over at Stargazer Stays have written up a blog detailing these Top 5 hikes. Be sure to read it before you head out to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park! Happy hiking!
